Rebecca Bodnar

Secretary

Rebecca applies her diverse leadership and organization experiences managing people, projects, and budgets in the nonprofit sector as an On Common Ground Board member.  Currently, Rebecca supervises programs for the Nevada Division of Environmental Protection, Bureau of Corrective Actions, Superfund Branch.  The Superfund Branch oversees the management of the state’s only Superfund site, the Carson River Mercury Site, Brownfields Program, Environmental Assistance Program, Certification Program, and Abandoned Mine Lands Program. Prior to moving to Nevada, she served as Board Chair for the Violence Free Crisis Line and the Abbie Shelter, on the Advisory Board for the Flathead Youth Home, and on the Urban Forestry Commission in Kalispell, Montana.  She was also Vice President of Education for the local Toastmasters Club.  Rebecca writes extensively and besides collaborating on technical documents for the State of Nevada and in conjunction with the USEPA, she has published scientific literature including manuals and magazine articles.
