Grab a friend or make new friends & get involved!
Help post flyers and posters in our community to spread the word about the November 10th Fashion Show + Casting Calls in September. http://www.ocgreno.org/event/fashion-show-fundraiser/?instance_id=47

10AM meet and greet over bagels & coffee and info/training, then partner up to chosen/assigned areas of Reno, Sparks and Sun Valley to promote and distribute flyers & donation letters. Re-group afterward at 1PM to share successes stories and a spaghetti feed.

Recommended: Comfortable walking shoes; sunblock & hat.

We’ll meet in the Concept Cafe, ground floor, Innevation Center: 450 Sinclair Street, Reno.

Casting Call (1 of 2: Pick a Date! Note Time Frames) @ Atlantis Hotel & Casino: Paradise Ballrooms A&B

Ages 4-104. New to modeling? Experienced model? Want to gain experience or feel attractive? We want you!
Casting calls are for On Common Ground‘s 2nd Annual Fashion Show Fundraiser scheduled Nov. 10, 2018 at UNR.

NOTE: 2 options for casting calls. Either Sept 22 (11:30AM-2:30PM) 
or Sept 25 (4-7PM), both at Atlantis Hotel Casino Resort.
1) Saturday 09/22-Paradise Ballrooms A&B or
2) Tuesday 09/25-Atlantis Fun Center Party Room
Also seeking distinguished men with kilts, tuxedo or dress military uniform to assist and escort select models onto and off the runway.

Everyone: WEAR SIMPLE, FORM-FITTING CLOTHES
Ladies:      BRING HEELS
                   WEAR LITTLE TO NO MAKEUP

Accommodate time for registration & registration photo & brief instruction. Fashion experts will be observing models and matching individuals to the designers’ specific needs, to properly represent each brand experience.
All minors shall be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Permission form to be signed by parent or guardian will be available at check-in time for participants under 18 years of age.
Please plan to keep small children with you the entire time.

 

Commitments required:
-Meet with designers and stylists by appointment prior to show
-All-day commitment Saturday, November 10, 2018
-1 to 2 Rehearsals t.b.a.
-Promote awareness about hunger in our area
–Promote the Fashion Show to sell tickets, recruit sponsorships & community participation

FASHION LINES, LABELS & COLLECTIONS
12 runway lines of 12 models each
Ladies, men, children and youth ages 4 to 104
Themes to be incorporated may include avant-garde, formal wear, headpieces, vintage, playa wear, sports/fitness and more.

Latin Harvest Community Dinner @ Moon Rabbit Cafe

Join us for this fundraiser staffed by neighborhood volunteers and help reduce hunger in our community. Bring friends & family for a dinner out. Enjoy mood music provided by the band Elyjah in the spirit of Latin-Islander Fusion.  Pay what you can!
Suggested Donation: $10. Plan to arrive early; We do expect a great response! Pre-purchase links will be available.

Appetizer: Sweet-corn tomalito, Salsa, Corn chips

Entrée: Mexican black- bean tacos served with choice of flour or corn tortilla or as a bowl
